Navegante was contacted by a private company to develop a feasibility study of a resort destination casino in the Fort Amador Peninsula Islands of Panama. Navegante made numerous visits to Panama to gather relevant information to do the study and subsequently presented a detailed report consisting of financial assumptions, customer demographics, business competitors, along with recommendations for the development of a resort and casino.

Navegante recommended that the client move forward with the project. This decision was based on several factors, foremost of which was the under utilization of Panama's gaming market. Navegante concluded that while it was a well-known fact that Central and South America have a high propensity for gambling, the wealthy residents and frequent, premium visitors of Panama chose to gamble outside Panama. With Navegante's marketing and operational experience in the gaming industry in the United States and other countries, this project could very well turn around Panama's economy.
