The Grand Sierra is currently the largest casino hotel and convention complex in Northern Nevada with 1,995 guest rooms and suites, a 107,000 square foot casino and sports book, and approximately 40 table games and 1,000 slot machines. It has 60,000 square feet of retail space, 10 restaurants, a 50-lane bowling alley, a two-screen cinema, fitness center, a wedding chapel and a family arcade. It also includes an expansive full-production 1,800-seat dinner theater and over 200,000 square feet of convention and meeting spaces. The Grand Sierra has over 3.4 million total square feet and is situated on 148 acres of land in Reno , Nevada , at the base of Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is ten minutes away from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport and less than an hour from Lake Tahoe .
